Car Overturns at Mundkur: Three Injured, One Critical

Karkal: An early morning vehicular accident occurred on the state highway near Katte Church in Mundkur, Karkala taluk, on Friday, resulting in multiple injuries. The incident took place around 5 AM when a car traveling from Shivamogga to Mangaluru lost control and collided with the road divider, leading to the vehicle overturning.

Emergency services reported that three individuals sustained injuries as a result of the accident, with one person in critical condition. In a commendable act of quick response, social worker Supreeth Shetty, who was engaged in a padayatra to Kateel at the time, received news of the accident and promptly arrived at the scene. He assisted in transporting the injured to a nearby hospital in Mangaluru for urgent medical attention.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
