CATCA to Hold Traditional Sports ‘Tuluvere Tulipu 2018’ on July 22
Mangaluru: “Coastalwood artistes and Technicians Association jointly organizing “Tuluvere Tulipu 2018″, to bring all the Coastalwood artistes together on July 22. The programme will be inaugurated with the Kambala at the Jaya-Vijaya Jodukere Kambalagadde Jappinamogeru. All the artistes and members of the technicians Association will take part in the programme”, said the president of Coastalwood artistes and Technicians Association Pammi Kodialbail in a press meet held at Hotel Woodlands here on July 14.
Addressing the mediapesons Actor Roopesh Shetty said, “Three years ago we started the CATCA, since then we are holding Coastalwood Premier League cricket to bring all the Coastalwood artistes together. As CPL brings us together only once a year, we thought of holding a unique programme which will help us refresh our minds with rural sports which we all have played during our childhood. I request all the people of Tulunadu to be present for “Tuluvere Tulipu” and make it a memorable and successful event.”
Addressing the mediapersons Ashthik Avinash Shetty said, “Our seniors have already set a stage for Tulu stage plays and they have released many Tulu movies. We were given the opportunity to act in movies and we have done our best. Now we need to work hard for further growth of the Tulu industry. To bring all the coastalwood actors together we formed the CATCA and from three years CPL was organized to bring together artistes from the Tulu industry. This time we thought of bringing the artistes together in a unique way by holding “Tuluvere Tulipu”. There will be various sports events, competitions and various delicacies of Tulunadu. I urge the people to come in large numbers and support us.”
Vijaykumar Kodiabail and Prathik Shetty also spoke on the occasion. Mohandas Rai, Ismail Moodshedde, Ashwini G Kotian, Prajwal, Ankitha Patla, Harshith and Hemanth Suvarna were also present.
