Catering Worker Assaulted and Looted in Kundapur
Kundapur: A catering worker was assaulted by miscreants and looted Rs 40000 at Kundapur while he was returning from work on May 21.
According to the police, Akshath Shetty (24), a resident of Karkunje, Kundapur taluk was returning in his motorbike after finishing catering work. When he reached near Karkunje, miscreants waylaid and assaulted him with lethal weapons, they also looted him of Rs 40000 and fled from the spot.
Akshath Shetty suffered serious injuries to his legs and head and has been admitted to Adarsh Hospital, Kundapur.
A case has been registered in the Kundapur Police Station.
