Catholic Sabha- Bondel Honours Meritorious Students.
Mangaluru: Catholic Sabha – Bondel honoured 47 meritorious students of 2017-18 batch of SSLC, 2nd PUC and Final Year degree students on September 2, 2018 at the Bondel Church Hall. It also celebrated Professional Day, including teachers, doctors, nurses, government employees and businessmen of Bondel area.
The twin events were presided over by Fr Andew Leo D’Souza, Parish Priest of Bondel. Walter D’Souza founder of Catholic Sabha and Entrepreneur was the chief guest, who in his speech stressed the need of education and participation of the younger generation in pan-India projects.
Lancy D’Cunha was felicitated during this programme on being re-elected as President of All India Catholic Union for a second term.
Fr Leo Veigas the Spiritual Director, Frasncis Viegas -secretary to parish council and Victor Correa -city vardo president were present. Unit president, Wilfred Alvares delivered the welcomed address and Ms. Lynette Pinto, Secretary, gave vote of thanks. Preeti D’Souza compered the programme.
