Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh Releases Stickers and Poster of ‘Samudayotsava 2020’

Udupi: The Stickers and Poster of ‘Samudayotsava 2020’- a Diocesan Level Laity Convention that would be organized on 19 January 2020 at Mount Rosary, Kallianpur premises by Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh on Thursday, 21 November 2019, were released by eminent journalist Nagaraja Rao, Mohammad Moula and Gautam Navada, both entrepreneurs, and Spiritual Director of Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh Fr. Ferdinand Gonslaves.

Speaking on this occasion, Nagaraja Rao said that Christian community has left a lasting mark on Indian society by its selfless service. It is natural to seek cooperation of every community when any major social events are organized. While everyone comes together in a spirit of cooperation such events can achieve success.

Founder of Fourth Focus and Ooramani Angadi, Gautam Navada in his message said that through such Conference communities can be brought together and it would enable to strengthen the society in general.

Mohammad Moula in his address said that everyone belonging to different communities should help in constructing harmonious society rather than building walls that separate each other.

Spiritual Director of Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh Fr. Ferdinand Gonslalves said that everyone in the society should try to build bridges and promote positive aim of achieving progress and harmony in the society.

It is expected that around 3000 Catholic members of the community would be participating in this Conference. Former Governor of Gujarath Mrs. Margaret Alva will be inaugurating the rally and Archbishop of Bengaluru Most Rev. Dr. Peter Machado will preside over the valedictory function. Bishop of Udupi Diocese Rev Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, Mrs. Janet D’Souza, Senior Congress leader from Maharashtra and other leaders will be attending the Conference. Achievers in six fields and lifetime achievers will be felicitated during the Conference.

Alwyn Quadros-President of Catholic Sabha, Udupi Pradesh, Secretary Santhosh Cornelio, convener of the rally Elroy Kiran Crasto, immediate past president Valerian Fernandes, former presidents Alphonse D’Costa and Walter Cyril Pinto were present during the programme.
