CCB police arrest Ghanaian National, Seize Cocaine worth Rs 5.5lakh
Mangaluru: CCB police arrested a man while selling Cocaine at the Lobo Lane Mallikatta here on January 16.
The arrested has been identified as Francis Christopher (37), a national of Ghana.
According to the police, On January 16, on getting information about a man who was trying to sell Cocaine to his customers at Lobo Lane Mallikatta, the CCB police led by CCB inspector Sunil Nayak along with PSI Shyam Sunder raided the spot and arrested Francis. Police seized Cocaine, 2 Mobile phones and cash Rs 3300 all worth Rs 5.5 lakh from his possession.
It is learnt that 2 years ago Francis came to India on a business visa and continued staying illegally. Francis had come to Mangaluru thrice to sell drugs. Francis has been handed over to the East police station for further investigation.
Under the able guidance of Police Commissioner Chandra Sekhar, DCP Law and order Shantharaju and DCP Crime and traffic Dr Sanjeev Patil, the operation was carried out by CCB inspector Sunil Nayak along with PSI Shyam Sunder and team.
