CEN Police Arrest Ganja Peddlers in Brahmavar
Udupi: The Cyber Crime, Economic Offences & Narcotics (CEN) police arrested two Ganja peddlers who were trying to sell Ganja near the Dharmavaram Auditorium at Brahmavar here on August 20.
The arrested have been identified as Asif Bhasha (38), and Riyaz (29) both natives of Hosanagara in Shivamogga district.
Acting on getting reliable information that Asif Bhasha and Riyaz were trying to sell Ganja to the public, the CEN PSI Ramachandra Nayak and team got into action and arrested both of them.
The police seized Ganja worth Rs 60,000, a Swift Desire car worth Rs 2.50 lakh and two mobile phones worth Rs 3500, all worth Rs 3,13,500/ from their possession.
A case has been registered in the CEN police station and investigation is on.
