CFAL student Navaneesha tops JEE MAIN 2018 in Mangaluru! CFAL student is the topper for the third consecutive year

Mangaluru: CFAL student Navaneesha has scored 303 out of 360 marks and has secured top score in the city and is the among the toppers of Karnataka. 15 students have scored marks above 150 which is considered top score in this exam.

For three consecutive years, CFAL students have been the toppers in Mangaluru in JEE MAIN exams. Considering the difficulty of this examination, this is a remarkable achievement. Dhanush in 2016, Aditya Upadhyaya in 2017 and Navaneesha in 2018 are the toppers. Majority of students studying in CFAL have qualified to appear for JEE Advanced -2018. Consistent mentoring, individual attention and a strong foundation in STEM subjects have contributed to these phenomenal results.

10,74,339 students appeared for the JEE Main 2018 examination on April 8(offline) and April 15 and 16 (online). The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), National Institutes of Technology (NIT) as well as other reputed institutions at the national level are hubs of academic excellence attracting the brightest students from all over India.

WHAT’S JEE MAIN?

The Central Board of Secondary Education conducted the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2018 in Pen and Paper mode at different centres located in 112 cities throughout the country and abroad on 08th April 2018.The computer-based examination was conducted at different centres located in 258 cities throughout the country and abroad on 15th & 16th April 2018.

Among them, 2,31,024 (Including all categories) students are eligible to write the JEE-Advanced exam which will be conducted on 20th May 2018. JEE-Advanced is an exam for getting a seat in Indian Institutes of Technologies (IIT’s).

JEE-Main ranks are considered for admission into National Institute of Technologies and other central government-funded technical institutes. Students in these institutions have access to world-class facilities and are up to date with emerging trends and streams of thought and prepare to serve both the society and industry with innovative solutions for current problems.
