CFI Stages Protest Against Srinivas College
Mangaluru: The Campus front of India staged a protest against the management of Srinivas College at Valachil here on August 27.
The protesters shouted slogans against the mismanagement of the college authorities.
The protesters alleged that the college administration was not allowing Muslim students to go for prayer on Fridays, grow a beard or lets girl students to wear the scarf. The management has also penalised the students in this regard.
The parents of students also joined the protest along with CFI members. They also alleged that the students are snatched off their religious freedom by the college administration.
CFI demanded justice for the students. The Mangaluru Rural police have been deployed to control the situation.
