Chandra Sekhar Visits AJ Hospital, Hands over Rs 25,000 to ASI Aithappa’s Family
Mangaluru: The Commissioner of Police Chandra Sekhar visited A J Hospital on April 7, to check on the health condition of Urwa ASI Aithappa who was assaulted by miscreants on April 5.
On April 5, when ASI Aithappa was on night patrol, two persons who came on a bike assaulted Aithappa with an Iron rod. He was admitted to the hospital with head injuries.
The commissioner of Police Chandra Sekhar visited the hospital and met Aithappa and his family, he also extended his moral support to Aithappa and his family. A cheque of Rs 25,000 was handed over to Aithappa’s family member by the police commissioner. A vehicle was also provided to Aithappa’s family for their use.
