Changing KPCC President is Left to High Command – HM Dr Parameshwar

Mangaluru: “Electing a new KPCC president is left to the high command, I cannot comment on it”, said the Home minister Dr G Parameshwar during an interaction with the mediapersons in the city, here on May 2.

The home minister also said, “There has been no harm to the Congress after S M Krishna left the party. The results of the by-elections are proof of that”.

When asked about the senior congress leader Janardhan Poojary who had advised to make Dr Parameshwar as the Chief minister, Home minister said, “It is the individual opinion of our senior leader Janardhan Poojary”.

When asked about the statement of MP Nalin Kumar on Karthik Raj murder case to “set the District on fire”, Dr Parameshwar said, “Nalin Kumar Kateel is a people’s representative and he should think well before commenting on any issues.”

When asked about the exit of senior Congress leader Vishwanath from Mysuru, Dr Parameshwar said, Vishwanth is a senior Congress leader and he should not leave the party. If there are any issues we can sit together and solve them. There is a solution for every problem”.
