Charlie Sheen feels smarter after HIV-positive reveal
London, June 21 (IANS) Actor Charlie Sheen, who revealed he is HIV-positive a few months ago, says he feels lighter, younger, smarter and sexier.
He gave the world an update on his health on June 19. He opened up about his diagnosis during an intimate chat with Piers Morgan at the Theatre Royal here, reports usmagazine.com.
Now, he is taking a next-generation drug called Pro 140 to treat his symptoms.
“It is the future of HIV treatment, no doubt. It’s one shot a week,” Sheen explained to Morgan, 51. “I feel lighter, I feel younger, I feel smarter, I feel sexier,” he said.
Fire burns over 2,000 acres in Los Angeles
Los Angeles, June 21 (IANS) Two fast-moving brush fires tore through vegetation on Monday in the Angeles National Forest and the foothills above Duarte and Azusa in Los Angeles, burning more than 2,000 acres within three hours.
The initial fire broke out shortly after 11 a.m. off Highway 39 near the Morris Reservoir dam north of Azusa, according to Sherry Rollman of the US Forest Service. The blaze fire grew to more than 100 acres within an hour, and then raged across 1,200 acres as it sped through dry woods, Xinhua reported.
Firefighters from the US Forest Service and the Los Angeles County Fire Department were dispatched to the scene.
The fire was believed to have been sparked by a vehicle running off the highway, and crews at the scene reported a possible fatality in that initial crash, but fire officials could not immediately confirm the death.
About 90 minutes after the reservoir fire began, a second blaze was reported about four miles southwest of it.
That blaze, dubbed the “Fire”, quickly roared into the foothills, burning north away from homes but threatening some remote horse stables.
That brush fire consumed at least 100 acres in less than an hour and burned rapidly uphill, according Captain Keith Mora of the Los Angeles County Fire Department. By mid-afternoon, the flames had roared across another 1,000 acres.
Evacuation orders were issued and people were forced to move out of their houses and take shelter in evacuation centres.

In a dramatic finale to “Battle of the Bastards”, Jon Snow (played by Kit Harington) was ultimately victorious (after getting help from sister Sansa (played by Sophie Turner) and Littlefinger (played by Aidan Gillen), punching Ramsay in the face until he was almost dead.
He was then fed to his own hounds by none other than Sansa Stark.
“It’s right. I’m glad it happens as a fan of the show. Jon Snow needs to win because otherwise there’s no hope left in the world. But it is interesting that it isn’t fair. And afterward, Ramsay still thinks he’s won. He’s so arrogant and self assured he thinks he’ll still be fine – until the last minute. He always thinks he’s going to be okay,” ew.com quoted Rheon as saying.
He shares that he “had received half the scripts, five episodes, then I got the call. They joked, ‘Isn’t it great Ramsay ends up on the Iron Throne?’ As soon as they said that I said, ‘He’s dead isn’t he?’ It’s cool. I’ve had four lovely seasons here”.
Rheon added: “It’s been great to be involved with such an amazing show. I think it’s kind of right he goes down. Because what else is he going to do after this? He’s done so many things. It’s justified and it’s the right thing to do. It’s the right path. He’s reached his peak. It’s nice for the audience that he goes out on this high, if you will.”
The current sixth season of the series is aired on Star World Premiere HD in India.
Sold my body for cocaine: ‘Game of Thrones’ actress
Los Angeles, June 21 (IANS) Actress Josephine Gillan, who plays prostitute Marei in the popular fantasy drama series “Game of Thrones”, says she was earlier addicted to cocaine and for buying it she used to sell her body “three or four times a week”.
Gillan says her life of drugs, prostitution and porn was “saved” by the show, reports dailymail.co.uk.
“’Game Of Thrones’ saved my life. I couldn’t have gone on for much longer. I was addicted to cocaine and to keep the supply I needed, I had to sell my body three or four times a week,” Gillan told The Sun newspaper.
“I was earning thousands of pounds a time for sleeping with wealthy punters. They’d pay a fortune knowing they were having sex with a porn star. I’d get as much as 4,000 pounds for an all-night session. I should have been set up for life but all the money was being blown on drugs. I was a train crash,” she added.
