London, Feb 1 (IANS) Singer Cheryl Fernandez-Versini copies TV mogul Simon Cowell’s eating habits.
Fernandez-Versini, who sparked concern with her thin frame during the last series of “The X Factor”, tailors her diet according to how busy her schedule is, but with limited choice on offer when filming the talent show, she just orders the same as her friend and fellow judge Cowell, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
“I tailor my diet to how many hours I work a day. I won’t eat anything that’s going to tire me out if I’ve got to work the next 12 hours. I have to find a balance,” she said.
“Doing ‘The X Factor’ boot camp, there wasn’t much to choose from, so I’d just eat what Simon was eating,” she added.
Rebel Wilson’s dating struggle
Actress-comedienne Rebel Wilson thinks dating in the public eye is difficult because people expect her to be like her characters.
Asked about dating as a famous personality, Wilson said: “I think it’s a lot more difficult. People think you are how you are on screen and in this new film I’m pretty much an alcoholic party animal,” reports femalefirst.co.uk.
“Me in real life is total opposite to that. I don’t really drink and I like going to the movies and nice restaurants, rather than clubs,” she added.
The “Bridesmaids” finds the dating “rules” in US difficult to navigate.
“Culturally, things are a bit different in America. With American girls, it’s all about who should pay and it’s all about rules you should follow. I don’t even know all the rules,” she told Look magazine.
But the 35-year-old says she won’t be turning to online dating to find a partner.
“I personally don’t like it. I think there’s an abundance of people who are lying. One of my favourite TV shows is ‘Catfish’ and it absolutely fascinates me. These people are going online and looking for love and then still having major dramas,” she said.
Douglas Booth warned by Russell Crowe
Hollywood star Russell Crowe warned actor Douglas Booth that working with him would be the most “interesting” thing he ever did.
The 23-year-old actor ran into trouble with his “Noah” co-star because he spent a lot of time on the set of the blockbuster texting his then-girlfriend, but following the telling off, he now leaves his phone in his trailer, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
“I was on set in New York and always on my phone texting and I remember Russell coming up to me and saying, ‘You’re never going to be doing anything more interesting than working with me and (director) Darren Aronofsky. What are you doing on your phone?'” Booth said.
“And he was completely right. Now my phone doesn’t come on to set so I stay present in every moment,” Booth told Britain’s Marie Claire magazine.
Booth has just finished filming “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies” with actors Lily James, Matt Smith, Suki Waterhouse and Sam Riley and found working on the comedy a “pleasure”.
“Some movies are a slog to get through. Sometimes you think, ‘Why are we all here?’ Slogging these long hours, going through hell, but you do it because you’re making something wonderful and you’re immensely proud at the end,” he added.
“We all hung out and had a wonderful time. It was a pleasure to go to work every day.”
Kelly Osbourne finds colouring ‘meditative’
Singer-actress Kelly Osbourne has discovered the benefits of colouring. She says she finds the process “meditative”.
The 31-year-old took to Instagram on Saturday to share that she has found something that has been proving incredibly helpful for keeping her mind calm, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
“I finally understand why my dad spends so much time painting! Even though this is clearly a colouring book… It’s like meditation. Before I knew it, an hour went by and all I filled in was a bloody (leaf emoji). I don’t have very good patience and I think I just found my cure,” Osbourne wrote on the photo-sharing website.
She later posted a shot of the adult colouring book “The Bad Bones Club”, after her fans rushed to ask her which she book was using.
Lily James wants to learn ukulele
Actress Lilly James felt “left out” when she visited a music store with her friend, who were buying guitars, so bought a pink musical instrument and is determined to find out how to use it.
An Ukulele is a small four-stringed guitar of Hawaiian origin.
“I can kind of play the guitar. I just went to Nashville and bought a pink ukulele. I’ve just posed for pictures with it so far,” James said, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
“I was in this incredible guitar shop and my friends, who are really musical and were actually touring with a musical, were buying guitars. I felt left out so I bought a ukulele. I am going to learn,” she added.
The 26-year-old actress also said that she regularly designs tattoos for herself but has yet to get inked.
“I’ve considered it so many times. I used to live in east London and every time I walked past a tattoo parlour, I used to go in and check out the fonts and look at the books,” she told Empire magazine.
“I’ve designed many tattoos I was going to have but I’ve never quite taken the plunge. I want to be totally sure.”
Rob Kardashian, Blac Chyna approached for sex tape
Reality TV personality Rob Kardashian and model Blac Chyna have been approached to make a sex tape.
Rob and Chyna, who are reportedly seeing each other, were asked by Larry Flynt, publisher of monthly pornographic magazine Hustler, to record sexual footage, which he wants to release on his company.
The letter, obtained by tmz.com, which reads: “We are known around the globe for our top-quality videos in a variety of genres, both hard-core and soft-core. One movie category upon which we are currently looking to place more focus is celebrity sex tapes. These have proven to be both sought-after and lucrative.”
“Considering your fan base and popular appeal, we think you would be excellent candidates for this type of venture and believe that, if you make such a video with us, you could earn up to a million dollars or more,” the letter further read.
The relationship between the rumoured couple has caused much controversy among Rob’s family, as Chyna has a son with former fiancé and rapper Tyga, who is currently dating Rob’s half-sister Kylie Jenner.
Meanwhile, the model has been released from jail following her arrest for “public intoxication” and “possession of a controlled substance” after boarding a flight from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport here.
