Chetana Child Development Center celebrates Annual Autism Day and Collective Birthday
Mangaluru: Annual Autism Day and Collective Birthday Celebration of all the students was held in a grand manner at Chetana Child Development Center, VT Road, Mangaluru on Tuesday April 2, 2019. Chetana Child Development Center is a unit of Seva Bharathi (R).
Hanumantha Kamath, Neelakanta, C. L. Shenoy, K. R. Kamath, Prashanth Kamath and Dr. Shalini Aiyappa were the chief guests of the occasion. Sumathi V. Shenoy, President of the Mangaluru Unit of Seva Bharathi (R) and Headmistress Supreetha were present on the dais.
Parents and volunteers participated in celebrating the birthday of the children performing traditional ‘Arathi’, applying Kumkum and distributing sweets.
The programme began with recitation of prayer by the school children. The children were entertained with duet song by the parents, group dance and group song by the teachers. The children performed dance and singing too and they were given birthday presents. The programme concluded after a delicious dinner.
