Children showcase their Multifarious Talents at Bajjodi
Mangaluru: About 100 children who had come for the three-day summer camp showcased their multifarious talents on Saturday, April 22nd at the Infant Mary Church hall. Parish Priest Fr Shabas Crasta welcomed everyone. Vice President Joseph Mascarenhas and Secretary Irene Pinto were present for the programme.
This programme was exclusively by the children who participated in the one-week camp at Bajjodi. They exhibited their talents in singing, dancing and skit. There were three fields in which they had been trained during the last one week. The 3 days learning was presented in the form of performances on the final day. All the parishioners remained until the end and enjoyed the cultural programme. It was really a super performance by the children.
Children were trained in music by Eric Ozario and his team comprising Preethi Lopez, Roopit D’Souza and Jaison Lobo. Choreography training was provided by Rahul Pinto and Merwin Fernandes. Flavia Rodrigues and Maria Joyce D’Souza trained the children in the skit. The skit section performed a skit entitled “Shinv Zalem Gadanv”. Mandd Sobhan Gurkar Eric Ozario and team members, ICYM youth and other volunteers were felicitated on the occasion for their hard work.
At the end, Fr Ivan delivered the vote of thanks. He also thanked the sponsors. Kreetan D’Souza compered the programe.
