Beijing, April 17 (IANS) Chinese stocks opened higher on Friday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 1.43 percent to open at 4,254.72 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 14,120.77 points, up 1.1 percent, Xinua news agency reported.
The ChiNext Index, tracking China’s NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, gained 0.93 percent to open at 2,507.47 points.
