Los Angeles, Aug 31 (IANS) Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has been caught up in a love feud between his new rumoured girlfriend Annabelle Wallis and her former beau James Rousseau after photographs emerged of the new couple.
“Annabelle and James were together for a long time and it hurt him to see the picture of Annabelle looking cosy with Chris,” a source was quoted as saying by The Sun newspaper, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
Shortly after the photographs emerged online, the model-turned-actor decided to take subtle revenge on his former girlfriend Wallis by posting a photograph of her, half asleep, sporting a double chin on his Twitter account.
“Posting the horrible photograph of Annabelle was his way of lashing out. She then had to get him to remove it, which he did, but she was furious,” the source said.
Martin and Wallis sparked romance rumours after the singer-songwriter was spotted with his arm around the actress as they “talked intimately” and gazed into each other’s eyes in Brooklyn.
The new relationship comes just two months after the 38-year-old singer split from actress Jennifer Lawrence, 25, because the “Silver Linings Playbook” star was reportedly too busy with work.
