Christmas Celebrations at St Therese of the Child Jesus Church Salmiya
Kuwait: St Therese of the Child Jesus Church Salmiya celebrated Christmas Eve Mass with joy and devotion on Saturday, December 24.
Fr Noel D’Almeida celebrated the Holy Mass in Konkani at 5:00 pm with hundreds of the faithful. In his Christmas message, Fr Noel called upon the devotees to live up to the expectations of the church by ‘Being Holy as Jesus, Obedient like Mary and Supportive and faithful like Joseph’.
Before the Mass, Christmas Carols were sung by the Choir. Christmas tree and Crib put up by parishioners filled the air with much festivity. Parish Priest, Fr Blany Pinto wished the gathering ‘Merry Christmas’ and thanked all those who supported to celebrate the birth of Jesus with grandeur and devotion.
