CIL Summer Adventure Camp from May 19
Mangaluru: The annual Summer Adventure Camp of Centre for Integrated Learning (CIL), a city-based NGO will be held at the Sharavathi Backwaters in Shimoga district from May 19. The camp is being organised as part of the overall personality development programme from high school and college students, which is the objective of the NGO. A press release stated that along with students, members of the general public are also eligible for the camp.
The participants will travel from Mangalore on Friday Night (May 19) and the activities will begin early morning the next day. The two-day camp will include series of treks, bird watching, high rope activities, Backwater Swimming, rock climbing, campfire among other adventure activities. The adventure camp is being held in association with Western Eco-Sports and Adventure Centre at Nandigod near Sagar of Shimoga district.
CIL has been conducting various programmes for school and college students to groom their personality to become effective individual and responsible citizenry and the Adventure Camp is one such programmes.
