Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Seize 10 K Dollars at Mangaluru International Airport from Passenger Scheduled to Travel to Dubai
Mangaluru : In spite of constant arrests of passengers being made by the security forces at Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) , for carrying illegal items like gold, drugs, foreign currency etc, people are still being ignorant and continue with the illegal activities, and get caught. The recent incident is where the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) on Monday seized $10,000 from a passenger at MIA.

According to a press release, the CISF personnel in the security hold area of the airport frisked Shashank Bysani Gupta, a resident of Bengaluru, at around 12 a.m., before he was scheduled to board SpiceJet flight No SG 59 to Dubai. The CISF personnel seized $5,100 that Gupta had reportedly concealed in his trouser pocket. Then a search in the hand bag of Gupta, CISF found another $4,900. Customs officials have taken custody of the passenger and detailed inquiry is under progress. .
