Cleanliness Drive and Tea Distribution mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Birthday in Udupi
Udupi: To mark the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Udupi Nagara Yuva Morcha organized a cleanliness drive in Udupi – Manipal area on Sunday, September 17.
Members of the BJP Yuva Morcha conducted the cleanliness drive at the MGM, MJC college bus stand area. The participants of the drive were enthusiastic, they collected garbage and cleared the grass from the college bus stand area.
Udupi district BJP chief Mattar Rathnakar Hegde, former Udupi MLA Raghupathi Bhat, Yuva Morcha president Akshith Shetty Herga, BJP leaders Yashpal Survana, Kapettu Suresh Nayak, Ravi Ameen, Owin D’Souza, Adarsh Nayak and others were present.
Meanwhile, the district BJP Minority wing led by president Sojan P James, General Secretary Mohammed Arif, Veinl Abubakker, Arif Kallotte, Denis Perampalli and others distributed tea at Indrali Railway station. BJP activists distributed tea to the Railway passengers who arrived at the Udupi railway station by Mangaluru – Mumbai train. Later they held the cleanliness drive at the Railway station premises.
As Narendra Modi turns 67 the Kidyoor Family trust led by Uday Kumar Shetty state BJP working committee member observed Seva Diwas and cleaned the Public toilets at Udupi City.
