Mangaluru: Chief Minister of Karnataka Siddaramaiah inaugurated the exit road of Mangalore International airport at Kenjar here on April 21.
The CM was supposed to reach Mangaluru at 9:30 AM but due to some unavoidable circumstances he has reached Mangaluru at 11:10 am.
Speaking to the mediapersons Siddaramaiah said that the Yettinahole project is a huge project and we need to form a separate board for this project to provide water. The Yettinahole project will not divert the Netravati River water, but through this project, we will provide excess water to places where it is necessary during the rainy season.
When asked if the project will fail, CM said that according to the technical reports there will be no chances of failure and we hope for the success of the project. At the same time, we have formed an expert committee to find a solution for alternative water sources. Later he proceeded to Bantwal to attend a programme there.
