CM Siddaramaiah influencing accused in Killing Hindu Leaders – VHP Leader Gopal G
Udupi: “Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has been influencing the accused in the killings of Hindu leaders. False cases have been registered against the Hindu leaders to destroy their future”, said Regional Convenor of Vishwa Hindu Parishad Gopal G. He was speaking at a press meet held at Hotel Ocean Pearl here on July 13.
Addressing the mediapersons Gopal said, “The killings of Hindu leaders has increased and the Congress government has maintained silence on the attacks on Hindu leaders. Mangaluru is burning with communal tension which is affecting the lives of the people. Associations like PFI and SDPI are involved in the killings of Hindu leaders. The government is silent on the activities of those associations which is leading to the communal incidents in Mangaluru”.
Gopal further said, “The advisor to the Home Department Kempaiah chairing meetings with the police officials are irrelevant. Minister in-charge DK District Ramanath Rai has no legal capacity to order the police personnel to arrest any person, he can only direct, or suggest the officials in this regard. The police department needs to arrest the leaders of PFI and SDPI, and then only the accused involved in the murder of RSS worker Sharath could be nabbed. The Hindu community will not remain silent if the attacks on Hindus continue. The government should give a free hand to the police to nab the culprits behind the attack”.
He condemned the attack on the Amarnath pilgrims and said that despite the attack, Hindus have commenced the pilgrimage which highlights their true spirit. The central government should bring the Amarnath pilgrimage to the jurisdiction of the Indian Army.
VHP will lead a religious meet (Dharma Sansath) in Udupi during November 24-26. 2000 saints and members of VHP will participate in the religious meet. RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Praveen Bhai Togadia, Ravishankar Guruji and other prominent leaders along with Pejawar Sri Vishwesha Teertha Swamiji will participate in the religious meet.
Answering on the Iftar Meet organised at Sri Krishna Math, he said that he has objection to the Iftar meet being organised in the Sri Krishna Math but will not comment further on the issue, he added.
VHP President Vilas Nayak, Bajrang Dal leader Sunil K R, Dinesh Puthran and others were present.
