Udupi: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will visit the district on April 6 and take part in several programmes including the review and progress of development works in Udupi and the inauguration and foundation stone laying ceremony in Gangolli and Byndoor constituency.
In a preparation meeting which was held at the DC office on March 28 Deputy Commissioner Dr R Vishal said that, the Chief Minister will reach Urva Meredian Helipad in the morning. He will inaugurate the Karnataka State level government workers convention in Gandhi Maidan Kundapur. Later he will take part in the foundation stone laying and inauguration programmes of various developmental works in Gangolli and Byndoor limits. He will then review the development projects of Udupi district.
Deputy Commissioner instructed the officials to speed up the preparations and ensure proper arrangements like the Helipad, security, achievement reports of various departments etc. DC also instructed to officials to prepare the beneficiary list of various government projects.
Priyanka Mary Francis CEO Zilla panchayat, Annamalai Superintendent of Police Udupi, Ashwathi Assistant commissioner Kundapur, Chennabasappa Additional DC, district officials of various departments were present in the meeting.
