Chief Minister Siddaramaiah working towards Sangh free Karnataka – Kota Srinivas Poojary
Udupi: “Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has formulated a Scheme on making Sangh free Karnataka by maintaining silence on the killing of Hindu activists. The Chief Minister of Karnataka should resign immediately following the communal tension prevailing in the state”, said Former Minister and MLC Kota Srinivas Poojary. He was speaking at a press meet held at his Office here on July 10.
Addressing the mediapersons Srinivas Poojary said, “Since the Congress party has come to power in the State 23 BJP workers were attacked and among them, 9 have lost their lives. 17 members of different Hindu outfits were also attacked and among them, 3 lost their lives. The State government is running without the command of the Home Minister, where the Chief Minister has retained the portfolio with the resignation of Dr G Parameshwar. The former Home Minister used to respond to the queries of the Legislative Assembly and Council members while the Chief Minister remains adamant on replying to any issues reported in the state”.
Around 98 cases of communal tensions have been reported in the state with the Police Department registering 511 cases on the accused.
The killing of Sharath Madivala an RSS worker has brought shame to the state. The government seems to be silent on the communal disturbances reported in the State. The main accused behind the attack is missing. The arrests made in connection to the stone pelting on the rally in Kalladaka has 6 accused belonging to Kerala. Siddaramaiah had made special security arrangements for the visit of Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan and the outcome of it seems to be the promotion of communal tension and those involved in it belonging to Kerala.
Dakshina Kannada Minister In-charge Should act following the growing communal tension. He had earlier held talks with the then SP on arresting Kalladaka Bhat, but has now remained silent on issuing any directions to the police to effectively probe the incident, he added.
