CM Yediyurappa visits KMC hospital to enquire about Pejawar Swamiji’s Health

Udupi: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa visited KMC hospital in Manipal on Saturday, December 21 to enquire about Sri Vishwesha Theertha of Sri Pejawar Math, Udupi, who has been admitted to the hospital on December 20.

Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa arrived by Helicopter from Mangaluru and reached the hospital by road. He was accompanied with Basavaraj Bommai state Home Minister, Govind Karajola deputy chief minister, Shobha Karandlaje Member of Parliament Udupi – Chikkamagaluru and Raghupathi Bhat MLA Udupi.

Speaking to media persons Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa  urged people across the country to join hands in offering prayers for the speedy recovery of Pejawar seer Vishwesha Theertha Swami.

The seer’s health condition remains unpredictable, owing to his age. Though the seer opened his eyes, he was not able to recognise people, Yediyurappa said.

“I am told that the condition is better when compared to Thursday,” he said.

The entire country wishes that the seer should be alive to witness the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, he said.

According to the Hospital sources Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji who was admitted with breathing difficulty is being treated in the ICU. He is now on ventilator support and is responding to the treatment.
