Coalition Govt in State working like Daily Wage Labourers without Security – Sanjeev Matandoor
Mangaluru: “Nowadays the Congress leaders including former MLA J R Lobo are indulged in false propaganda about MP Nalin Kumar Kateel. In four years as an MP, Nalin Kumar Kateel has brought Rs 15145 crore from the Central Government to Dakshina Kannada for the development work. MP Nalin has worked for the development of the district and is a corruption free leader. We now have a coalition government in the state which works like daily wage labourers without any social security”, said the Puttur MLA Sanjeev Matandoor in a press meet held at the BJP Office here on August 6.
Addressing the mediapersons Sanjeev Matandoor said, “MP Nalin is people-friendly and always fights for justice. He has already implemented various Central government schemes in Dakshina Kannada successfully. But the Congress party is indulged in spreading false propaganda about Nalin Kumar Kateel. About the delay in Pumpwell and Thokkottu flyover, Nalin is trying his best to complete the work. But till 2012 the design of Pumpwell flyover was not ready because of the interference of the District administration and the MCC. The design was changed Twice and the Flyover work was started in 2013. But the district administration nor the then MLA had made any efforts to speed up the work”.
Sanjeev Matandoor further said, “Due to the negligence of the contracting company Navyug the work has been delayed. Now the contracting company has agreed that they will complete the Thokkottu flyover work by December 2018 and the Pumpwell work by January 2019. The opposition cannot see MP Nalin’s success and are indulged in false propaganda but the people will not believe them. MP Nalin is committed to making Dakshina Kannada a model district, he has already developed the Balpa Grama under the “Adarsh Gram scheme”.
MLA Dr Bharath Shetty, Former President of District BJP Pratap Simha Nayak, Jitendra Kottari, Ravi Shankar Mijar, Kishore Rai, Prabha Malini, Pooja Pai, Santhosh Kumar Boliyar and others were also present.
