Coast Guard Rescues Six Crew from Sinking Tug Revati off Mumbai
Mangaluru : Indian Coast Guard Ship Amartya based at New Mangalore on safety and security patrol off Mumbai responded to a distress call from a sinking Tug Revati. In a swift rescue operation ICGS Amartya saved six crew from sunken Tug at 10:54 hrs today 18 Mar 2019.
Rescued crew were provided with necessary medical aid. All crew are reported all are stable. One crew of tug is reported missing and one Coast Guard Helicopter and ICG Ships are still engaged in SAR for one missing crew.
