All College Student Union Inauguration at Town Hall on 9 September
Mangaluru: Addressing the media persons during a press meet held at Mangalore Press Club, Mithun Rai- District Youth Congress President said, “Mangaluru University All College students Union inaugural programme will be held on Saturday, 9 September at 10.30 am at Town Hall, Mangaluru. This programme will involve college students of three districts that are under Mangalore University. Nearly 5000 students are expected to attend this inaugural ceremony.
The main idea behind to have a students union is that the students follow the rules of the constitution, and also it will help them address any issues pertaining to the student body or the college, where it could be solved systematically and effectively, rather than getting into any controversy or prolonged hassles.”
The inaugural function will be graced by Ministers Ramanath Rai, UT Khader, Dinesh Gundu rao; Vinay Kulkarni, Ex-Minister Abhayachandra Jain and MLA’s J R Lobo and Moideen Bava. Members seated on the dais during the press meet were- Mounish (Sharadha College); Vasudev Bhat (Canara College); Sourav (SDM College); and Akhil- Sri Devi College)- these students will be contesting for the elections tomorrow.
