Community Clean Up Drive & National Safety Week Celebrations at Karwar

Karwar: To maintain Healthy and Safer Condition at Karavali Park on 8th March, 2020, AECOM in collaboration with Karwar Municipality Office, along with our valuable business partners like Larsen &Toubro – an Indian multinational conglomerate company headquartered in Mumbai; Shapoorji Pallonji and Company Private Limited – an Mumbai based global, diversified organisation; Navayuga Engineering Company Limited (NECL)- an Indian multinational conglomerate headquartered in Visakhapatnam and Nagarjuna Construction Company Ltd (NCC) an Hyderabad based Construction Company has taken up a community drive to make “Karavali Garden” at Karwar a safer, cleaner and healthier place to the visitors.

Coincidentally, the day being recognised as International Women’s Day, Valuable Contribution also made by women during this drive which made the initiative so special for the society. Leadership & support extended by Municipality of Karwar is praiseworthy and notably one of the important initiatives to make a mark and communicate a message to our society with respects a need for a cleaner and healthier public places. Needless to say, cleanliness leads to disease free life and an important path towards a sustainable world.

Passion displayed by our employees, business partners and their family members during the clean up drive marks the spirit of participative approach to an issue and its effective remediation. This demonstrates true commitment, dedication, team spirit and focus towards a goal of improving community values.

National Safety Week Celebrations at Karwar

49th National Safety Week 2020 is observed at Project Seabird, Karwar on 4-11 March based on our principle concept—“Culture of Caring” under the leadership of Mr. David Hanly, Project Director. Our client, business partners and employs are spearheading various programs to stimulate awareness among our stakeholders which includes the community at large and are proactively engaged in preaching and propagating varied messages on safety aimed at addressing safer work place and safer community.
