Company E-mail Hacked, Rs 11.95 Lakh Looted by miscreants
Mangaluru: The emails of two companies being hacked and Rs 11.95 lakh looted by hackers, was reported in the Panambur police station.
Richard Monteiro owner of Plant Tech Power Technical Services Pvt Ltd, at Baikampady, was often importing Ceiling elements from ENR Machining company in Chicago, USA.
All the business dealings were carried out through emails. On October 7, and October 27 Richard had placed orders and on October 17, had transferred $12000. On October 20, he had again transferred $5,800 against the purchase (Total Rs 11,95,216). But the amount was not received by the ENR company, instead, some miscreants had hacked Richard’s email and transferred the amount to their account.
In this regard, a case has been registered in the Panambur police station.
