Complaint filed against youth for derogatory comments on Jesus Christ
Mangaluru: Christian community leaders along with the district Youth Congress members and like minded people approached the Police commissioner to file a complaint against those who have posted derogatory comments on Jesus and Mother Teresa on the social media on September 12.
Christian community leaders approached the Police commissioner T R Suresh and filed a complaint against Akshar Boliyamajal who posted derogatory comments on Jesus and Mother Teresa on the Facebook which has hurt the sentiments of the Christian community.
After filing the complaint District Youth Congress president Mithun Rai said, “Some anti-social elements are trying to spoil the harmony and brotherhood in the society. They want to create communal disturbances in the society by posting derogatory comments on the social media about Jesus Christ and Mother Teresa. We demand stern action against those involved in creating communal tension by insulting a particular community. The accused should be arrested as soon as possible so that others will not dare to post derogatory comments and play with the sentiments of the people of the district.”
Meril Rego, Lawrence D’Souza, Sheldon Crasta, Rohan Kulshekar, Viyon Robin, Ivy Melisha, Jaison Suratkal, Vivan Kulshekar, corporator Praveen Chandra Alva, Girish Alva and Sandesh Pakshikere, youth from various parishes and youth Congress members were also present.

Yes ur true, congress leaders are acting like they are adupted Christian community. It’s shame that we are going bebhind them. There is no single Christian to give complaint against Akhshar. Y we need support from political leaders to oppose against him.
