Congress afraid of Losing, Appeasing Minorities to Win Elections in State – Sanjeev Matandoor
Mangaluru: “The recent Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh defeat in the assembly elections has shaken the Karnataka State politics. The same waves will soon hit Karnataka and in the forthcoming assembly elections, the BJP will win by a huge margin. To avoid defeat the Congress leaders, CM Siddaramaiah and KPCC President Parameshwar are appeasing the minority community and holding talks with PFI and SDPI leaders in Bengaluru. The Congress cannot fight the elections independently, and they are taking the support of PFI and SDPI”, alleged the district BJP president Sanjeev Matandoor in a press meet held at the BJP office here on December 21.
Addressing the mediapersons Sanjeev Matandoor said, “The Congress leaders are supporting the PFI and SDPI, because of appeasement there are communal fights in the district. With the fear of defeat, the Congress is holding talks with the PFI and SDPI. Even a police officer had gone to MLA Moideen Bava’s house and honoured him with a shawl which shows that the law and order situation in the district has completely failed.”
Sanjeev Matandoor further said, “Today morning the corporator of the Vamanjoor ward was not invited for the foundation stone laying ceremony for the four-lane road from Vamanjoor to Pilikula Nisargadhama entrance. While the Minister for Planning, Statistics, Science, and Technology M R Seetharam was laying the foundation stone the locals protested for not following the protocol and inviting the local corporator. The police abused the protesters which shows that the police are working under pressure of the state government.”
Sanjeev Matandoor also said, “Congress aims to win the forthcoming assembly elections in Karnataka. So the CM is taking a tour of the entire state with the taxpayer’s money. Even for advertisements, the CM is spending money. Whose money is he spending and why he is spending taxpayers money? Let the CM release a white paper on the expenditure for advertisements. The funds are reserved for the development of the state but the CM is spending the money for the election campaign.”
Blaming MLA Moideen Bava, Sanjeev Matandoor stated, “Moideen Bava is the second name for corruption. He knows how to loot money and how to spend.”
Monappa Bhandary, Vedavyas Kamath, Jithendra Kottari, Dr Bharat and Ravi Shanker Mijar were also present.
What benefits Christians are getting from minority department? Let the central and state government explain the distribution of funds in minority department and then call press meets and election campaign. Everybody is fooling public. It is time to awaken and elect the person who works for people forget the party. The elected person should be capable of raising voice against injustice than just closing eyes.
