Congress Candidate Sorake meets Pejawar Swamiji, seeks Blessings
Udupi: Congress candidate for the Kaup Constituency Vinay Kumar Sorake, on Thursday, April 27 met Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar Math here and sought his blessings for the upcoming Assembly elections slated to be held on May 12.
Blessing Sorake, the Swamiji said that “Since you are from my place Pejawar, I am proud. You have tremendously developed the Kaup constituency in last 5 years of your tenure. Udupi Sri Krishna will bless you during this time of elections”, he said.
He also said that it was the duty of the religious leaders to pray for the well being of the society and nation.

Did Swami ji say ‘ Vijayee bhava?’
Duryodhana and Yudhishtira go to Lord Krishna seeking support. Duryodhana sits at head end and Yudhishtira at the feet. Lord opens his eyes and sees Yudhishtita first and asks him what he can do for him. Duryodhana gets upset and informs that he came first and should be heard first. Yudhishtira allows that.
It is another matter that Duryodhana chose the army over Krishna.
