Congress Govt led by Siddaramaiah No 1 Corrupt Govt in the Country – MP Nalin

Mangaluru: “The Congress Government led by Siddaramaiah in Karnataka is the number one corrupt Govt in the country. Four years have passed but the congress government has still failed to implement any new schemes in the state. Whatever schemes and projects that are being done were implemented by the BJP during their tenure. The Congress government has even failed to complete them”, said MP Nalin Kumar Kateel in a press meet held at the BJP office, PVS Circle here on February 18.

Addressing the mediapersons MP Nalin said, “The Congress government is ruling the state for the past four years. Before coming to power, Siddaramaiah had assured to fight against corruption but after coming to power he has forgotten everything. The IT department conducted raid on Small Scale Industries Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi but Siddaramaiah did not take any action not has he dropped him from his cabinet. The IT department also raided KPCC women’s wing president Laxmi Hebbalkar house and seized Rs 162.06 crore including Rs 41 lakh worth new Rs 2000 currency notes. But Siddaramaiah did not take any action, when there are allegations on the Congress government, Siddaramaiah is trying to twist the issue by targeting the BJP leaders”.

MP Nalin further said, “In four years of Siddaramaiah’s tenure, we have lost faith in the Congress government. We thought Siddaramaiah is an able leader and he will take up development projects but he has implemented only the Anna Bhagya scheme. It is a government of thieves since the state government has failed to implement any new projects. The Karnataka state during Siddaramaiah tenure is in number one position in corruption”.

MP Nalin also said, “There are allegations that the chief minister has given Rs 1000 crore to the high command to remain in power. When there are allegations on Siddaramaiah why is he not clarifying the allegations? He has even taken money to continue the Yettinahole project and the steel bridge. People in Bengaluru stage protest against the Steel bridge but Siddaramaiah has maintained silence on the issue. On February 20, we will stage a protest in front of the DC office against the Congress government demanding to drop the corrupt politicians from the party.”

When asked to explain about the money taken by Siddaramaiah to continue the Yettinahole project, MP Nalin said, “It is has been published in the media”.

BJP leaders Krishna J Palemar, Monappa Bhandary, Sanjeev Matandoor, Brijesh Chowta and others were also present.
