Congress Leaders to Blame if Communal Violence Erupts in District – MLA Kamath Warns

Mangaluru: MLA Vedavyas Kamath has warned that Congress leaders will be directly responsible if communal violence breaks out in the district tomorrow during the Eid Milad procession. He was reacting to a threatening voice message circulated on social media by criminal-turned-Congress leader Mohammad Sharif, who has a history of inciting communal tensions.

Sharif’s message mentioned Hindu leader Sharan Pumpwell and threatened to disrupt peace in the district. Kamath demanded that the police immediately arrest Sharif and take stern action against him.

The MLA alleged that Sharif was plotting to create communal clashes during the procession and pin the blame on Hindu organizations. He urged the police to take action against such communal elements to maintain peace in the district.
