Congress party had not sidelined S M Krishna – Dinesh Gundu Rao
Udupi: The Congress party had not sidelined Former Karnataka Chief Minister and veteran Congress leader S M Krishna. He is one of the most likeable leaders in our party said Diniseh Gundu Rao working president of KPCC.
He was speaking to the media persons during his visit to Udupi on Wednesday February 1. Dinesh Gundu Rao further said that S M Krishna being a senior leader has enjoyed every position in the party, he was expecting a higher post like the President or Prime minister of the country. The party is pained by his sudden resignation. There is no doubt that S. M. Krishna personally might not have been happy in the party. I am personally pained by his resignation. The party senior leaders will meet Krishna and convince him to return to the party, he added.
Union budget has no hopes left for the citizens of India. PM Modi and Finance minister Jaitely are only good to assure fake pledges to the people. There was lots of hopes on the budget
He said the budget has nothing to offer new and only solace is the budget has some hopes incorporated in terms of income tax. Budget has utterly failed to generate employments and has nothing to offer to the farmers. Budget had received much hype and all assurance to make the country within top 50 has failed. The country still remains in 130th position. There is nothing for Karnataka, he said.
Earlier Dinesh Gundu Rao had participated in the Madhwacharya Saptha Shathamanothsava celebrations organised by Paryaya Sri Krishna Math.
District minister in-charge minister Pramod Madhwaraj, Sri Vishwesha Thirtha Swamiji, Sri Vishwa Prasanna Thirtha Swamiji, Eshapriya Thritha Swamiji and others were present.
