Congress used money power to win By-polls – Jagadish Shetter
Udupi: Former Chief Minister Jagadish shettar on Thursday April 13, accused the ruling Congress of using money power in Nanjangud and Gudlupet to steal the mandate of the people.
He was speaking To the media persons after visiting Sri Krishna Temple, Udupi. Shettar said that It is normal that the ruling party is winning the by-elections. Congress party has misused the power during the election campaign and spent money in crores. We will set an ambitious target of having an absolute majority by winning 150 seats in the 2018 Assembly polls under the leadership of B S Yeddyurappa. State goverment has misused the official machinary for the bypolls. We take the defeat as a challenge to emerge victorious in the assembly polls next year. In the meantime the party will give proper position to Srinivas Prasad, he added.
BJP needs to think deeply about Yeddy/Eshwarappa/Shettar. With these infighting clowns they have no chance of winning next year. Only SMK at the top with rigorous canvassing from Modi can change the outcome.
