Coronavirus Infection: Four admitted in Isolation Ward in Udupi Dist Govt Hospital
Udupi: Four persons who arrived from China were admitted to District Government hospital in Udupi on Friday February 7. The doctors suspected that the patients might be suffering from the deadly coronavirus.
All four persons who arrived from China were admitted to an isolation ward in the District Government Hospital after they were found suffering from fever and cold during the screening.
According to sources one of them is from Kaup and the other three are from Brahmavar. Doctors treating these four patients said their condition is stable. Samples, including nasal swabs and blood samples, have been sent to tests for coronavirus infection.
Meanwhile, KMC Hospital Manipal has clarified that some vested interests are spreading fake news about Coronavirus patients found in their hospital which is far from the truth. Not even one case is confirmed in KMC hospital Manipal they said.
