Court Restrains Media from Reporting on Allegations against Pramod Madhwaraj

Udupi: The Udupi second additional civil Judge and JMFC court on Wednesday, March 27 restrained the media houses from publishing and telecasting news against former minister Pramod Madhwaraj on his banking transactions, business or other affairs.

According to the statement The defendant T J Abraham and his men, agents, representatives and all persons are hereby   hereby restrained from acting on the basis of his statements or quoting him from issuing press statements, making public speeches or publishing any false and or defamatory news, articles or matters against Pramod Madhwaraj in relation to his banking transactions, business or other affairs in newspapers, magazines, websites, social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp, Instagram or in any other public/social platform pending disposal of the suit till the next date of hearing.

Plaintiff is hereby directed to comply Order 39 Rule 3(1) of CPC officer is hereby directed to issue suit summons, notice on IAII and the order of expatriate temporary injuction only after compliance.

Recently the Social and RTI activist Abraham had alleged that Pramod Madhwaraj former minister who is contesting from Udupi-Chikkamagaluru Constituency on the Congress-JD(S) ticket is most corrupt and that he would campaign appealing voters not to cast their votes in favour of Pramod Madhwaraj.
