COVID-19: 40-year-old Man Dies, 6th Death Reported in DK
Mangaluru: The COVID-19 death toll has risen to 6 in Dakshina Kannada district as a 40-year-old man from Venur, Beltangady died here on May 25.
On May 22, the person was admitted to the hospital with Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI). His throat swab was sent for test and confirmed to be positive for COVID-19.
When he was admitted to the hospital, he was treated for Severe Acute Respiratory Infection. But on May 25, he breathed his last without responding to the treatment.
