COVID-19: Death Toll rises to 8 in India, Karnataka state Lockdown until March 31
Bengaluru: The Chief Minister of Karnataka B S Yediyurappa announced the lockdown of the state until March 31.
On March 22, the lockdown of Bengaluru, Bengaluru Rural, Dakshina Kannada, Chikkaballapura, Kodagu, Dharwad, Mysuru, Belagavi and Kalaburgi districts was announced, the lockdown would continue until March 31.
The deputy commissioners of those districts had also imposed section 144. But the people did not pay heed to the guidelines of the government.
