COVID – 19: Four More Positive Cases in DK District – DC
Mangaluru: In a press release the Deputy Commissioner of DK Sindhu Roopesh has confirmed that four more cases have been tested positive for COVID – 19 in Dakshina Kannada district.
On March 23 and March 24, a total of 4 persons have tested positive for COVID -19. All four patients are from Kerala.
To prevent further spread of the virus, DC Sindhu Roopesh has ordered all the passengers who had travelled on Spice Jet (SG -60) on March 23 at 5:30 pm and Air India Express (IX 814) on March 19 at 5:00 pm to remain in home quarantine for 14 days. They should not go out of the house for any reason, nor should they mingle with their family members, especially children and the elderly.
If the family members or anyone around them face any health issues and need any emergency service, they can immediately contact the Taluk Health officers or tahsildars. Those under home quarantine should not go to the hospital on their own. They can call the control room 24X7 or toll-free number 1077, and an ambulance will be arranged for them.
