COVID-19 Testing Lab starts Operating in Wenlock Hospital
Mangaluru: The first-ever virology lab started functioning at the Wenlock hospital on April 7.
This lab will carry out the throat SWAB tests of suspected COVID-19 patients.
Pathologist Dr Sharath is the in-charge of the testing lab. The test for COVID-19 will be carried out in the lab and the report will be available on the same day.
Today, being the first day 10 throat SWAB tests were done in the lab.
