Because of the lockdown for the last two days, no new positive cases were registered in Dakshina Kannada. We need to follow social distancing to prevent the coronavirus from spreading further. Unable to understand this complete lockdown and shutting of essential supplies in the district for over two days. Kerala , which has more positive cases definitely seems to be managing the situation much better, all essential supplies ensured throughout the state, in some cases even the local govt organised home deliveries. As of yesterday, they have commenced community kitchens to provide food for the underprivileged. And as a neighbouring district we are not even able to manage the essential supplies for few hours in the day. Very sad indeed.
