Creating Jobs and Empowering Youth is my top Priority – Youngest Maharashtra MLA Zeeshan
Mangaluru: “This is my first visit to Mangaluru. I am the youngest first-term member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly representing the Vandre East in Mumbai. I won by defeating Shiv Sena’s Vishwanath Mahadeshwar. My top priority is to empower youth by creating jobs. My dad, Baba Ziauddin Siddique was a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of the state of Maharashtra in India for the Vandre West Vidhan Sabha Constituency for three consecutive terms and is always there to guide me. I want to make Maharastra a model state in the country”, said 27-year-old youngest MLA of Maharastra Zeeshan Siddique in a press meet held at the district Congress office here on February 22.
Addressing the media persons Zeeshan Siddique said, “I am the youngest MLA of Maharastra, the Congress party won this seat against Shiv Sena after 16 years. I belong to the constituency where we also have the Chief Minister and the cabinet minister. My vision is to create jobs and focus on the development of Maharastra. Since Congress along with Shiv Sena has formed the government in Maharashtra, I will make sure that the government will provide jobs to youth and empower them and also develop the infrastructure. I came to Mangaluru to study more about the education system as Mangaluru is called an educational hub.”
When asked about the CM of Maharastra being in favour of the CAA and NPR, Zeeshan said, “In Maharastra, the Shiv Sena, NCP and the Congress have formed the government. Before taking any decision the CM will discuss the matter with all the party leaders. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray is in favour of the survey which is conducted every 10 years. Before taking any decision we will go through the pros and cons of the CAA and NPR”.
DCC president Harish Kumar, Kanachur Monu and others were also present.
