Culprits who Placed Explosive Device in Mangaluru Airport will be Arrested soon – Dr Harsha
Mangaluru: “All the three teams are working relentlessly to nab the accused who had left the explosive device at the ticket counter in the Mangaluru International airport on January 20. We have interrogated many suspects, soon the accused will be nabbed”, said the Police commissioner of Mangaluru Commissionerate Dr Harsha through a video release here on January 21.
In the video released Dr Harsha has said, “On January 20, we have started the investigation and we have searched for the suspects. The investigation of the auto used by the suspect and the driver has been in progress. We are investigating the call history received by the airport authorities in the past from unknown persons. After we released the photographs of the suspect, we have been receiving a number of videos and photographs.
Dr Harsha further clarified that the technical team has defused the explosive on January 20. Very soon we will trace the accused. The team which defused the explosive device has sent the residuals for investigation to find out the type of explosive that was in the bag.
