Customs Fraternity provide Commodities to 115 Families during Lockdown

The officers from Mangalore Central GST,Customs departments, DRI, DGGI and retired officers of CBIC. under the aegis of CBIC Karnataka a COVID group, today, Wednesday, 8 April, came together to provide help to the poor and needy residing around Thanneerbavi locality amid nationwide lockdown due to Covid-19 outbreak as part of their social responsibility.

The officers under the guidance of Baswaraj Nalegave,Commissioner of Customs, and Imamuddin Ahmad, Commissioner of Central Tax, distributed dry ration kits that consisted of boiled rice, dosa rice, cooking oil, tea, and sugar to 115 needy families in that locality while maintaining social distancing
