Cyber Police Issue Notices for Inflammatory Posts on Social Media
Mangaluru: After the implementation of NRC and CAA, there were protests against the bills. More than 25 people lost their lives all over the country in police firing, in Mangaluru also 2 persons lost their lives in the police firing. After the incident people started to use social media to vent their anger.
The cyber police have kept an eagle eye on those who post inflammatory posts on social media. The police have warned not to post any inflammatory posts on social media which may lead to violence.
On the reference of North and East police, the cyber police have issued notices under 41A CrPC to many persons and facebook page admins and summoned them for investigation.
