Dave Franco, Jackie Chan enter Lego world
Los Angeles, Aug 12 (IANS) Actors Dave Franco and Jackie Chan among others will lend their voice to “Lego Ninjago Movie”.
Justin Theroux, Fred Armisen, Abbi Jacobson, Olivia Munn, Kumail Nanjiani, Michael Pena and Zach Woods will also give a voiceover to the latest Lego animated movie – “The Lego Ninjago Movie”, Warner Bros made the announcement on Thursday, reports hollywoodreporter.com
The film’s plot revolves around the battle of Ninjago City and calls to action young Lloyd, aka the Green Ninja, along with his friends, who are all secret warriors and Lego Master Builders. Led by kung fu master Wu, as wise-cracking as he is wise, they must defeat evil warlord Garmadon, the worst guy ever, who also happens to be Lloyd’s dad.
Chan will voice Master Wu, while Franco will voice Lloyd. Theroux will voice Garmadon and Munn is taking on the role of Lloyd’s mother. The ninjas will be voiced by Armisen, Jacobson, Nanjiani, Pena and Woods.
The movie is being directed by Charlie Bean, and is slated to release on September 22, 2017.
